Rebuilding Support and Process
Housing Recovery Plan
State agencies will work with local governments to develop a long-term housing plan for those displaced.
Simplified Permitting
Permitting for mobile homes and temporary housing is coordinated by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
HCD will establish reasonable health and safety standards while suspending non-essential rules.
Fairgrounds for Emergency Housing
State fairgrounds identified as suitable will be immediately repurposed for temporary housing.
